> Point a domain at any app or environment. SSL certificates and DNS are handled for you.

## How it works

1. **Add your domain.** Enter the domain you want to use for an app or a specific environment.
2. **Point the DNS.** Add the record Light Cloud gives you at your registrar. That is the only manual step.
3. **Certificate is issued.** An SSL certificate is provisioned for the domain automatically.
4. **Live over HTTPS.** Traffic to your domain reaches the right environment, encrypted end to end.

## What you get

- **Automatic SSL.** Certificates are issued and renewed for you. There is nothing to install or rotate.
- **DNS handled.** Light Cloud manages the mapping from your hostname to the running service.
- **Per app or per environment.** Attach a domain to production, or give a staging environment its own hostname.
